We are now looking for a Night Engineer to join our lovely Maintenance team.

Responsibilities include:

• To maintain the upkeep of the building and respond to guest issues in a timely manner.
• To communicate any Engineering issues with all departments and be on hand for any problem solving within the hotel.
• The Night Engineer is responsible for keeping the hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventive electrical related maintenance and repairs on hotel power plant machinery and internal appliances.
• To support the Engineering Management team with the day-to-day running of the Engineering operations.
• This role will be expected to support the Shift Engineers in the maintenance requests that will arise including replacing or repairing light fittings, bathroom fixtures, painting and decorating, unblocking sinks/drains etc.
• The Night engineer works closely with the Night management team and plays a crucial role in the emergency response team attending all fire related issues forming part of the fire seek and search team.
• Ensuring all works carried out is in line with the planned maintenance program, expected to perform proactively and in keeping with legal requirements.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding and full compliance with the Standards Operating Procedures for Engineering
• Manage Health and Safety files ensuring daily/weekly checks are carried out 
• Must always be presentable, polite and a team player as will be working with many different people at different times.
