Deputy Restaurant Manager
Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored hotel on a 400-acre farm in the county of Hampshire, just outside of London. In Marle and Hearth restaurants, we prepare food and drink that celebrates simplicity, the seasons, and a sense of place. We're honoured to hold a green Michelin star at Marle.
Front of House is currently looking for a Deputy Restaurant Manager - Marle
Position responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Efficient quality control of the delivery of all food and beverage items.
- To attend and/or oversee all Menu/Service Briefing Meetings.
- To monitor the high standards of cleaning and Health & Safety regulations both back and front of house.
- Manage, motivate, and develop all F&B staff to achieve highest levels of service excellence as well as highly positive staff relations.
- Engage and build relationships with staff, regular guests, first time guests and non- residents.
- Visibly present on the floor during service to serve guests efficiently and consistently as well as monitoring all staff.
- Ensure that excellent quality and superb service is delivered to all customers.
- Maintain a high customer service focus and convey this attitude to all team members.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and personal hygiene.
- To oversee induction, training, and support of all new starters.
- To ensure that all staff are always correctly dressed and well-presented and that they always offer professional and effective service to their customers.
