Heckfield Place are offering different aspects across the surrounding grounds, the character of each bedroom is written in the natural materials and meticulous craftsmanship found throughout. Six beautifully distinctive room types, situated in the main house, off the corridors and within the grounds.

We are now looking for a Casual Seamstress to join our lovely housekeeping team.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that repairs to uniforms and soft furnishings are carried out promptly
• Repairing of rugs in rooms and public areas is undertaken.
• Assist in uniform stock take in the warehouse and hotel.
• Reporting of uniform requirement including reject, replacing and ordering
• Upkeep of all sewing accessories and machines
• Communicate requirement in time to the Manager.
• Keep the work area clutter free and clean.
• Maintain excellent communication and working relationships throughout the hotel.
• Ensure that standards set by the Seamstress and the Executive Head Housekeeper are always followed
